Gambling Awareness and Engagement Project

Gambling Awareness and Engagement Project

The remit of the Gambling Support Service is to raise awareness, and reduce the effects, of gambling harms in local communities across the Highlands & Islands of northern Scotland.

We deliver two services from the Inverness Badenoch & Strathspey Citizens Advice Bureau: an awareness session for front-line workers and support organisations to enable a meaningful and immediate response to clients who experience gambling harms; we also provide help for gamblers and ‘affected others’ through our more traditional 1-2-1 direct client service.  (This service is also available from all bureaux in the Highlands, Orkney and Western Isles.)
